Denomination of Origin Almansa travelled to Paris from 9 to 11 February to attend one of the most important international trade fairs in the wine sector, held at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles exhibition centre.
This marks the second year that DO Almansa has taken part in this international event within the framework of the European programme “European Food and Wine, A Recipe for Sustainability”, alongside DO La Mancha and DOP Jumilla.
Over the three days of the fair, visitors had the opportunity to discover up to 11 wines from the denomination in the “Wine Tunnel”, a key space designed to showcase the different wines and highlight the diversity of the participating regions. In addition, a dedicated Business Center area was available as a meeting point for our wineries.

Each year, Wine Paris brings together more than 6,000 exhibitors from over 60 countries and welcomes more than 60,000 professional visitors, including importers, distributors, producers, key opinion leaders and sommeliers from around the world, consolidating its position as an essential commercial meeting point for the wine industry.
In addition, in 2026 Spain has been one of the leading protagonists of the fair, increasing its presence by 55% and achieving the largest institutional representation in its history at this event.

In this context, the presence of DO Almansa has made it possible to further strengthen the international positioning of our wines, create new business opportunities, and reinforce existing relationships with professionals in export markets.
Participation in international trade fairs of this kind underlines DO Almansa’s commitment to international promotion, sustainability, and the global projection of its territory, by taking part in leading events that showcase the unique character of our wines and the dedicated work of our wineries.

Rosana Trujillo, Manager of the Denomination of Origin Almansa, highlights the importance of participating in Wine Paris 2026 as a key event for the international projection of our wines and a strategic opportunity for DO Almansa wineries to continue strengthening their position in global markets.
