Denomination of Origin Almansa has played its part in two of the most important events in the Spanish wine industry during May.
Firstly, some DO Almansa representatives, as members of the Castile‑La Mancha delegation, attended Fenavin 2019, the Spanish national wine exhibition held in Ciudad Real from May 7 to May 9. In this event, one of the greatest in our sector, visitors from every Spanish region enjoyed our wines and got themselves acquainted with DO Almansa’s history and background. Importers, customers and wine aficionados could taste Almansa’s wines in a top‑class exhibition.
That same week, on May 11 in Plaza de las Agustinas, Denomination of Origin Almansa joined the simultaneous national toast called by Movimiento Vino DO to encourage responsible consumption and to promote all Spanish denominations of origin, particularly among young people. The main goal of the Movimiento Vino DO Day is also to remark the revitalizing role that wine plays in the economy of regions like ours. As always, this event was a total success shared by all the people who came to celebrate the passion for our native region’s wines.
